A very wise speaker I heard once said that one of the greatest gifts in life is our ability to have a do-over. I like that. So, here is my do-over on the blogging front. I am really bad at this.
I have a cousin who has a blog and she is amazing at it. She has a new post almost daily and has a cult-following big enough to make Ellen jealous. Not Oprah but Ellen. She always has clever stories and heart string pulling stories and events to share with all of her "lovelies" as she calls them. I will never be that good.
My husband informed me tonight that he has started a blog. I am "welcomed to be part of it" he informed me oh so sweetly. As of this post he has three posts and he just created the darned thing like two days ago.
So now it is obvious; I stink at this stuff. Of course, I really don't have too much to worry about since I am really only blogging for my own guilty pleasure because no one will ever read this because I have no idea how to link my blog to anyone elses. I have looked all over the "dashboard" and cannot, repeat, cannot figure it out.
But hey, it's a do-over..... so.........

Day One
A very wise and experienced blogger told me that it was an unwritten code of conduct that as a blog writer you have creative license in telling all events and that as a reader of that blog you MAY NOT correct the blogger or denounce in any form or fashion that the facts stated are true or false. Her words were "if you want to rebuff what I say, get your own blog" so here it is. My first official blog. But I am choosing no rebuttal; at least not in my first blog.
My husband sits up late at night with his laptop reading all kinds of blogs. Now mind you, most of them are not trivial or full of entertaining stories. They are filled with deep theological discussions and biblical discussions on things that I cannot begin to talk about for fear of getting some fact incorrect and being just short of blasphamy. But you will find none of that here. No sir. Nothing deep, nothing theological; just my thoughts and such.
I hope someone enjoys something I share..... otherwise this little adventure may be very short lived.
